Asia Travel
For about five weeks, from October 22nd to November 28th of 2018, Audrey and I traveled through Southeast Asia. Along the way, we weaved our way through over 12 locations spread all across Thailand and Vietnam, with a layover day in Seoul, South Korea.
Prior to that, my dad and I visited Tokyo and Hong Kong. My dad loved Tokyo when he visited it and wanted to go back, and he hadn’t been back to Hong Kong since his birth. So, in 2016, after graduating college, we went.
Wading deep through bustling, motorbike and pedestrian filled streets, Audrey and I find ourselves eating lots of bun cha and enjoying the night festivities Hanoi had to offer.
Audrey and I find ourselves a little bit more at home in the mountains of northern Thailand as we chat with monks in Chiang Mai and motorbike around the town of Pai.
Audrey and I quickly adjust to the hot and humid weather of Phuket, Thailand as we hike around Phi Phi Island and find ourselves amazed by the rich blue water, soft sand, and blazingly beautiful sunsets.

After some amazing sights and dishes in Tokyo, my dad and I head for our most anticipated destination: Hong Kong.
Four years of university later, my dad and I finally got the chance to go on a trip together. First stop was my dad's favorite place in eastern Asia: Japan.

For our first destination in Vietnam, Audrey and I hop on a cruise boat to check out Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay where we admire endless, towering karst formations and find ourselves wishing for more time.
