Europe Travel
With a few months off between graduating college and starting our jobs in Boston and Seattle, my high school friend Joe and I reunite and head off to Europe for a month on a classic Eurotrip. Along the way, we visit over eight locations, many of them classic cities and some of them off the beaten track towns, throughout Europe.
With absolutely no plans or even a place to stay, I flew from England to Paris. Fortunately, things sorted themselves out and I got to check out some awesome landmarks.
After catching up with Lola, I traveled north to Dewsbury, England to catch up with Ellie, 12000 miles away from where we first met in New Zealand.
Finally getting a grasp of the Eurail system, Joseph and I split up. While Joseph went east to visit Austria, Czech Republic, and Hungary, I went west to visit France and my friend Lola.
A stopover in Munich to visit one of Joseph's friends and for a Bavarian beer festival quickly turns into a city-wide shutdown and manhunt.
While we couldn't make it to Rome due to the sheer amount of tourists headed that way, Venice was a beautiful alternative that makes me desparately want to return to Italy.
Despite some unfortunate events, Joseph and I enjoy our time in Amsterdam, exploring the city both by day and by night.
While Joseph and I weren't initially inclined to visit Copenhagen, the Danish capital had a certain draw to it that makes me want to go back.
With graduation and school behind us, my friend Joseph and I scrape together a last-minute trip to Europe.

Last stop of Eurotrip: Switzerland. With some cities under my belt, it was time to get back to the mountains and check out the Swiss Alps.
